Intro to AR Art with Adobe for Young
Grades: 3-5
Length: 1 week
Accreditation: Fully WASC Accredited (The Gold Standard in K-12 Education)
Prerequisite: None
DESCRIPTION
Step into a World Where Art and Technology Intertwine! Young Digital Artists will move beyond basic drawing and learn to use professional digital tools like Adobe Photoshop. They will channel their enthusiasm into designing detailed characters, fantastic environments, and imaginative scenes.
No experience needed—everyone learns at their own pace, with extra challenges for students who are ready for more.
Once the design is done, the real magic begins. With Holographic AR, students literally step into the art they just created. Imagine designing a fantasy world in Photoshop and then walking through it, or creating a digital character that interacts with you in real-time!
Using just a standard webcam, they teleport inside their designs to interact with their characters and become the hero of the story—without ever leaving the room. Along the way, campers build confidence, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills as they refine their artwork for an immersive experience.
Along the way, campers build creativity, critical thinking, and persistence as they design and improve the arts they create.
Experience the Magic of Holographic AR: We turn digital art into a magical, physical experience.
- Step Inside Your Art: You don't just create digital images; you become part of the artwork! You will see yourself standing right inside your Photoshop creations and digital stories.
- You Move, It Moves: When you jump, your animated characters react! When you wave, the world you designed comes to life around you using time-based animations.
- Tangible Fun: This physical interaction makes art feel real and exciting, transforming traditional digital design into a living, breathing experience.
