integem course AI Experience Lab for High Schoolers

AI Experience Lab for High Schoolers

Grades: High School

Length: 1 week

Accreditation: Fully WASC Accredited (The Gold Standard in K-12 Education)

Prerequisite: None

DESCRIPTION

Unlock what’s next in AI. In this high school–level camp, students will build a REAL AI Doll with a physical AI device/module inside, then push it further by implementing features like eye control, personalization, and interactive behaviors. Students will also train and evaluate AI models, improve accuracy through testing, and integrate AI into complete systems—connecting real inputs (camera/voice/gestures) to real outputs (responses/actions/AR interactions).

No experience needed. Students progress step-by-step with optional advanced challenges for students who want to go deeper.

Build a REAL AI Doll (Physical AI!)

This year’s signature build is the AI Doll—a doll powered by a physical AI device/module inside. Students will assemble, configure, and customize their AI Doll, adding features such as eye control, custom responses, and interactive modes. It’s a standout build: AI you can hold, test, demo, and show off.

Experience the Magic of AI + AR

We combine creative coding with practical machine learning and Holographic AR—no goggles or headsets needed.

  • Train AI Models: Train AI to recognize hand signals, specific objects/drawings, and voice commands, then measure performance and improve
        accuracy.
  • Build & Configure the AI Doll (Physical AI): Learn how physical AI works in a real device and configure the doll’s capabilities—eye control,
        personalization, and interactive actions.
  • Step Inside the Tech: Use a standard webcam to “teleport” into the screen, test models live, and interact with your creations in real time.
  • Create Smart, Interactive Worlds: Build AI-powered AR experiences that trigger effects and actions from gestures, images, or sound, then refine
        through testing and debugging.

Along the way, students build real engineering habits—experimenting, troubleshooting, iterating, and improving their systems.

Students will learn

  • Computer & Internet skills (High School Level)
  • AI Foundations (High School Level)
  • Data in AI: quality, bias, and impact on accuracy (High School Level)
