AI Robotics with NVIDIA AI & AR for High Schoolers

AGES: 14+

LENGTH: 2 weeks

DESCRIPTION

High School AI Robotics Engineers (Grades 9-12) will step into the advanced realm of AI and robotics with our three-week intensive camp, featuring the state-of-the-art NVIDIA AI platform.

This camp is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC).

Upon successfully completing the camp, students will receive an NVIDIA AI certificate.

No prior computer or robotics knowledge is needed. Students will progress from beginner to advanced High School level over the three-week program.

Fun outdoor and indoor activities and plays are part of the camp experience.

Picture a world where the advanced capabilities of AI, robotics, and Holographic AR merge to create a new realm of possibilities. In this intensive camp, students will use the NVIDIA AI to empower robots with sophisticated AI, and through Holographic AR, they will project themselves alongside these robots into diverse and challenging environments. This innovative setup allows students to experience working with robots in any corner of the universe while comfortably staying at home. This camp paints a vision of a future where the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds are seamlessly bridged, enabling unparalleled exploration and teamwork with robotic counterparts.

This camp is centered around Robot and AI, giving students the chance to engage in AI programming for robotics. In addition to AI, the camp incorporates Holographic AR, allowing students to create and control detailed robotic scenarios in augmented reality. The combination of advanced AI technology with immersive AR experiences provides a comprehensive understanding of the cutting-edge developments in robotics and AI. This camp is perfect for those who are passionate about diving into the complex world of AI, robotics, and augmented reality.

The following hardware will be provided in the camp for each student. You have the option to purchase a set to take home:

  • Robot: A smart robot featuring programmable sensors, Mecha Arms, and Mecanum Wheels with Omni Directional Tires. Here, students delve into advanced sensor technologies and control systems, gaining hands-on experience in building and controlling complex robotic structures.
  • AI Integrated System: This system, mountable on the smart robot, acts as the AI brain, endowing the robot with intelligence.
  • NVIDIA AI with Camera: the NVIDIA AI is a powerful AI machine and will be mounted on the robot. The camera will serve as an eye for the robot to see the world and the AI will provides intelligence to the Robot to see and understand the world.

Students will learn AI, NVIDIA AI platform, robotics mechanics and sensors, robotics engineering control, robotics programming, AI, AR coding and design, Design Thinking process based on the Stanford Univ. Design School curriculum, user interface/user experience (UI/UX), interactive story telling and more with following modules:

Robotics Camp Safety Note: Mandatory Requirements for Participation

Prioritizing Health and Safety: At our Robotics camp, ensuring the safety of each student is paramount. Given the nature of the activities and the diverse needs of our participants, we have established essential safety requirements:

  • Handling Components with Care: All students are required to handle small parts with both hands, ensuring control and safety. It is mandatory to avoid putting any parts in the mouth. This is a strict requirement due to choking hazards and health concerns.
  • Mandatory Adherence to Instructions: To maintain a safe and productive learning environment, it is essential that students follow the teacher's instructions at all times. This is not just for their own safety, but also for the safety of others in the class.
  • Appropriate Behavior with Components: Students must handle all robotics components with care to prevent any damage or injury. Actions such as throwing parts are strictly prohibited and could lead to immediate removal from the camp.

Important for Parents/Guardians: Please evaluate whether your child can safely adhere to these safety requirements. This is especially crucial if your may need additional support or accommodation. Our teachers strive to provide individual attention, but it is not possible to monitor each student every second. If you have concerns about your child's ability to adhere to these safety requirements, please contact us to discuss further.

Adherence to these rules is non-negotiable and crucial for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants. We are committed to creating a stimulating, educational, and safe environment, fostering a passion for technology and innovation.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in creating a safe learning space for all.
