Grades: 3-5

Length: 1 week

Accreditation: Fully WASC Accredited (The Gold Standard in K-12 Education)

Prerequisite: None

DESCRIPTION

Unlock the secrets of the future! In this camp, students will build a REAL AI Doll with a physical AI device/module inside, learn how to set up and configure it, train AI models and Integrate AI into systems.

No experience needed. Students learn step-by-step at their own pace, with extra challenges for students who are ready for more.

The Big Project: Build a REAL AI Doll (Physical AI!)

This year’s signature build is the AI Doll—a doll with a physical AI device/module inside. Students will assemble, configure, and personalize the AI Doll, then use it in fun interactive activities. This is a major hands-on highlight: AI you can hold, test, and show off.

Experience the Magic of AI + AR

We combine creative coding with beginner-friendly machine learning and Holographic AR—no goggles or headsets needed.

  • Train AI Models: Students train AI to recognize hand signals, specific toys or drawings, and voice commands.
  • Build & Configure the AI Doll (Physical AI): Students learn how the physical AI device works inside a real object and configure their AI Doll to
        respond in creative ways.
  • Step Inside the Tech: Using a standard webcam, students “teleport” into the screen to test their creations and interact with them in real time.
  • Create Smart, Interactive Worlds: Hold up a card to make it rain, wave to steer a virtual car, or clap to trigger an action—then improve it through
        testing and debugging.

Along the way, campers build creativity, confidence, critical thinking, and persistence as they experiment, troubleshoot, and make
their projects better.

Students will learn

  • Computer, keyboard, mouse, and Internet skills (Young Level)
