DESCRIPTION

Teen Robotics engineers (Ages 10-14) will dive into a captivating adventure in the Robotics Engineering & AR Coding Camp. This camp is open to all skill levels, with no prerequisite knowledge in computers or robotics, making it a perfect starting point for aspiring Teen learners.

This camp is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC).

Fun outdoor and indoor activities and plays are part of the camp experience.

At this camp, students will immerse themselves in the exciting worlds of robotics and augmented reality (AR) coding, blending hands-on creativity with real-world technology. They’ll explore everything from robot sensor control and coding fundamentals to advanced techniques for motion and maneuvering, bringing their robotic creations to life in dynamic and interactive ways.

Imagine this: guiding robots as they navigate the uncharted depths of the ocean or the farthest reaches of the galaxy, all while stepping into a holographic AR world. Students will experience the unique blend of robotic engineering and AR, where their ideas break boundaries and transform into extraordinary possibilities.

The following hardware will be provided in the camp for each student. You have the option to purchase a set to take home for continue learning:

  • Robot: A Mecha Armed smart robot powered by Raspberry Pi Pico & WiFi 6 technology, featuring programmable sensors, Mecha Arms, and Mecanum Wheels with Omni Directional Tires, to explore sophisticated sensor technologies and advanced control systems.

  • Mandatory Adherence to Instructions: To maintain a safe and productive learning environment, it is essential that students follow the teacher's instructions at all times. This is not just for their own safety, but also for the safety of others in the class.
  • Appropriate Behavior with Components: Students must handle all robotics components with care to prevent any damage or injury. Actions such as throwing parts are strictly prohibited and could lead to immediate removal from the camp.

Our teachers strive to provide individual attention, but it is not possible to monitor each student every second.
