Integem Tech Leadership Program Terms and Conditions

1. Enrollment and program scope

These terms apply only to the Integem Inc. Tech Leadership Program. The enrolling parent or legal guardian agrees for themselves and authorizes the student’s participation. They do not govern separately purchased camps, online foundation classes, or other programs.

Current and former Integem students may enroll directly. New students first take an Integem online class or summer camp, at separate tuition. Before payment, the enrollment summary must identify the purchased option, included seasons, program dates, first included activity, and any scheduled breaks or TA arrangements.

2. What the program covers

Fall 2026 includes 10 live online classes during the September 13–December 5 term, starting Sunday, September 13; there is no class November 22 or November 29. Spring 2027 includes 10 live online classes from January 10 through May, with no class January 17. Two spring break Sundays will be selected with the group to accommodate different school calendars. The full 10-session spring calendar and final May date will be confirmed with families. Both terms meet on scheduled Sundays, 7–8 PM Pacific Time. Students need a suitable computer, internet connection, and safe learning space. Students are expected to participate in class and complete 1–2 hours of independent work each week; ambitious projects may require more time.

Fall covers AI, AI agents, AGI concepts, responsible use, project planning, science and engineering methods, testing, and presentation and submission preparation. Spring covers applying technical skills and student-built or other AI applications to community needs, outreach planning, communication, and accurate impact records. Summer TA includes teacher shadowing and peer support in AI, coding, robotics, drones, or related STEM learning on a separately coordinated schedule.

3. Tuition and separate costs

All prices are in US dollars and are for existing Integem students. The annual package is $599 for its designated fall, spring, and summer TA components. Fall only is $499; spring only is $499. Single-term enrollment includes only that term. Tuition is due at enrollment unless a written payment arrangement is offered. This is a fixed program purchase, not automatic annual renewal.

Guidance, scheduled instruction, feedback, and assigned resources are included. If pursuing the Congressional Award, parents pay its current one-time $35 registration fee directly to the Congressional Award, not Integem. An existing registrant does not pay again; organizer fee-waiver rules may apply.

No paid software or AI subscription is required. Students may use Integem iCreator as directed. Optional ChatGPT, Muse, Gemini, or other subscriptions, tokens, API usage, and provider charges are the family’s responsibility and are not included. Families also pay any separate organizer fees and optional project expenses they choose. Foundation classes or camps and NVIDIA AI training or certificates are not included.

4. Student work and award outcomes

Tuition purchases instruction and guidance. Students must develop and document their own work and complete actual service activities. Integem does not guarantee a finished project, completed outreach, submission, entry, acceptance, service hours, competition placement, or award. Families complete required registrations, permissions, approvals, and submissions with guidance. Organizers control their rules, deadlines, eligibility, and decisions. Congressional Award registration starts at 13½; award applications may be submitted from 14. Only eligible activities after registration count, and earning an award may take longer than one program year.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Before the program starts: A written cancellation received before the first included activity is scheduled to begin qualifies for a full refund of program tuition paid. Send requests to support@integem.com and include the student’s name and enrollment details.

Once the purchased program starts: No refunds are provided for family cancellation or withdrawal, student absence, illness, late arrival, unused sessions, unfinished work, failure to participate, or an award or competition outcome. Tuition reserves access to the scheduled program, whether or not the student attends.

What counts as the start: The start is the first included activity scheduled for that particular enrollment, including an agreed summer TA activity if it comes before fall. A separately purchased camp, earlier unrelated TA experience, or general access to a website does not start a new Tech Leadership enrollment.

Summer TA in 2026: If the student already participated in summer TA in 2026 as part of the same annual enrollment, that annual program has begun. Refund requests for an earlier enrollment are governed by the terms accepted for that purchase. These new terms do not retroactively remove existing rights.

If Integem cancels or materially changes the program: Integem will notify the family. If Integem cancels an included session, it will offer a replacement or a proportionate refund for that unprovided session. If the program is cancelled, cannot be delivered, or a material date, time, or format change is unsuitable for the family, the family may decline the replacement and receive a refund for the affected, unprovided portion. Refunds use the tuition actually paid and a reasonable allocation to the unprovided portion; completed annual components will not be repriced at single-term rates. A credit or transfer requires the family’s agreement. These remedies also apply to unprovided services affected by events beyond Integem’s control.

6. Attendance and class materials

There are no makeup classes for a student’s missed fall or spring sessions. Integem may share available course materials; materials are not a replacement live class and are not guaranteed for every absence. Integem does not record classes because of privacy concerns. Students and families must not record, transcribe with an AI meeting bot, or distribute class sessions or other participants’ information.

Student or household internet and device problems are treated as absences. A disruption on Integem’s side that prevents delivery is handled under the cancellation and service remedies above. Missed classes or illness do not create a refund entitlement after the start. Families may contact Integem at any time to discuss reasonable accessibility accommodations.

7. Summer TA and community activities

TA timing, location or format, activities, readiness requirements, and supervision arrangements are confirmed separately. Adult staff retain responsibility for instruction and supervision; student TAs support peers under their direction. Families coordinate transportation and permission for any in-person activity. Students must not operate robotics, drones, or other equipment without appropriate permission and supervision.

Community participation and TA hours do not automatically qualify as Congressional Award service. Eligible activities, beneficiary organizations, actual hours, and required validation must meet the Award’s rules. Families and students coordinate any independent outreach and obtain necessary community and project permissions before beginning.

8. Responsible AI and parent supervision

Teachers guide responsible AI use and check student work during live online instruction. They cannot see every browser tab, app, device, private conversation, or action on a student’s computer. Parents must supervise and monitor their student’s AI use during online class as needed and at home, and discuss appropriate use with the student. This shared responsibility does not remove Integem’s own legal duties.

Use only age-appropriate, approved tools in accordance with provider account, minimum-age, privacy, and parental-consent rules. Do not misstate a student’s age or bypass account restrictions. Ask the instructor for an appropriate alternative if a tool is unsuitable.

Do not submit confidential or private information about students, families, classmates, or community members to AI services. This includes identifying images or recordings, contact details, passwords, school records, health information, payment details, and API keys. Use fictional or non-identifying sample data. Do not collect community data, connect an agent to accounts, or publish an application without instructor and parent review and any required permissions.

AI outputs can be incorrect, biased, or inappropriate. Students must verify claims and code, follow safety instructions, credit sources and AI assistance, and explain their own work. Do not fabricate research, activity logs, service hours, or submissions. Report unsafe content or privacy concerns to a parent and the instructor.

9. Optional purchases and usage charges

Parents must approve any optional paid AI or software purchase. Review subscription renewals, free-trial conversion, token and API pricing, auto-reload settings, and cancellation rules. Set available spending limits and alerts, protect account credentials, and regularly check usage and billing. Some spending alerts are not hard limits. Do not leave paid agents running without oversight. Families are responsible for purchases they authorize and provider charges under their provider agreement. Integem does not require these purchases or pay these charges.

10. Privacy and learning materials

Integem uses enrollment and learning information to administer the program under its applicable privacy notices. Required privacy notices and legally required consent must be provided before relevant collection or use; acceptance of these terms alone does not replace additional consent required for children’s data. Marketing use of a student’s identifiable image or work requires separate permission. No class recordings are made.

Students retain rights in their original contributions, subject to rights in underlying Integem and third-party materials. Integem may review and display submitted work within the enrolled class for instruction. Course materials and iCreator remain subject to their owners’ rights; access is for authorized educational use and does not transfer ownership.

11. Conduct and legal rights

Students and families must treat others respectfully and follow safety and integrity instructions. Integem may pause unsafe activity and contact the parent, and may suspend or end participation for serious or repeated misconduct. It will explain the reason and consider reasonable accommodations. Refunds follow these program terms.

California law governs, without taking away mandatory protections that apply where a family lives. Nothing here waives nonwaivable consumer rights or excuses fraud, willful injury, unlawful conduct, or liability that cannot legally be excluded. If one provision is unenforceable, the others remain effective to the extent permitted by law. Material changes apply prospectively after notice and agreement when required, not retroactively by website posting.

These program-specific terms and the accepted enrollment summary govern Tech Leadership when expressly accepted. They replace conflicting general program provisions for that enrollment; they do not silently add camp cancellation rules, arbitration, or a media release.
